Sara Aliaga Ticona, comunicadora social, fotoperiodista boliviana y artista visual Aymara. Como fotógrafa y narradora visual concibo la fotografía como un instrumento social de reconquista identitaria, donde los ejes fundamentales de mi investigación visual convergen en torno al género y la identidad, los derechos humanos, la crisis climática y el impacto que tiene en los pueblos indígenas.
Mi trabajo se construyen en torno a narrativas simbólicas, conceptuales y documentales con el cual busco elaborar discursos para la creación de una memoria colectiva visual consciente, ética y que dignifique, temas que son transversales a mi propia realidad como mujer indígena y como fotógrafa.

My work is built around symbolic, conceptual and documentary narratives with which I seek to elaborate discourses for the creation of a conscious, ethical and dignifying visual collective memory, themes that are transversal to my own reality as an indigenous woman and as a photographer.
